12th Annual Girls Getaway

I spent the weekend with APU girlfriends Gina Donnelly, Marci McMahon, and Liz Kitch. We stayed in Solvang, but spent most of our time in Santa Barbara. We did lots of shopping and eating, but also squeezed in some beach time and pool time. We look forward to next year's getaway.

Fun Memories

Our last night in Los Gatos, Kent unloaded a suitcase full of random memorabilia he had decided to gift to the rest of us. Caden is modeling his old baseball jersey and clip on ties, while Jeff is sporting a 1989 World Series t-shirt.

Santa Cruz

After eating lunch at the Crow's Nest on the water, we went to see the redwoods in Felton. The redwoods are beautiful and amazing.

Kent and Angie's Reception

On July 6th, we had a reception for Kent and Angie, who were married on 6-7-08 in Kauai. There were about a hundred people who came to my mom's house. Many people drove from far away and my Aunt Holly flew in from Alaska! Congratulations Kent and Angie!

Angie's Shower

My mom's friend Carol-lyn planned a surprise shower for Angie. She has a fabulous house and garden. Emma loved her fairy garden.

Fourth of July

This year, we bypassed our Pismo tradition and headed north to Los Gatos. My brother and his new wife Angie and my sister were all at my parent's house. Kent and Angie didn't get in until evening, but we all enjoyed watching Emma and Caden with their sparklers.

I caught Caden experimenting with Emma's new flower clippies. He's always making us laugh!

Fun at TT's house!

After UCLA, we spent one night in Hermosa Beach at TT's house. While we were there, we got the awesome news that Jeff and I will officially be Uncle Jeff and Aunt Jen as of February 2009! Congrats Steph and Brian! The kids enjoyed an afternoon at the beach and a bath in TT's fun spa tub.

Disneyland

Emma had her annual heart check-up at UCLA, so we did a Disneyland trip with it. We got annual passes and spent two days at Disneyland. Cousin Brennan and Aunt TT joined us one day. Emma's check-up went well. The doctor said she looks and sounds great. Still waiting on the results of the echocardiogram....
