3rd Annual Tie Dye Party

This year we had 15 kids come for our party which included rainbow snacks, slip 'n slide, the sprinkler ball, and tie dying, along with lots of running around. We had warm weather and everyone had lots of fun. There were even some tears shed when it was time to leave.

Our Tenth Anniversary

Jeff and I went to Carmel for our anniversary and stayed at our favorite place, the Cobblestone Inn. It was very relaxing and we enjoyed lots of beach walks, shopping, reading, watching the Olympics, and playing games. The last picture is at Casanova, where we ate our anniversary dinner. Yum!
Thanks Jeff for ten wonderful years together of growth and fun. You have been a rock during our medical challenges. You are a great husband and daddy. You work hard to provide for us and are respected both at work and home. I love you!
P.S. A huge thank you to Jeff's parents who came and stayed with the kids and put up with Emma's stomach flu all night!

Our New Neighbor!

Sweet Clara Miranda was born on August 2nd. We went to see her at the hospital and I did my youngest prints ever, at 7 hours. The kids always want to walk down to their house and visit and Caden especially loves holding babies.

Paso Children's Museum

The kids and I met our friend Susie and her children Kai and Marin at the museum for a playdate. Susie is visiting from South Carolina. The kids loved the pizza kitchen, grocery store, dressing up, and the ball room.

Mr. T.

Our friends Brian and Bekah Pogue brought their sweet 16 day old Tanner over for dinner. Emma and Caden loved being able to hold him. Isn't he sweet?!

Mid-State Fair

I took the Emma and Caden to the fair this week. We started with the animals. Our friend Carson Rinkenberger had a sheep, Mr. Magoo, there this year. After checking out the goats and pigs, they decided they were ready for rides. Caden was very nervous on the first couple of rides because there was no adult with him, but he warmed up to the idea and both kids had a blast. The big yellow slide was Caden's favorite, while Emma liked the flying one where she is laying on her tummy. The "carnies" ( ride operators) made a big impression on Emma. She has not talking about their nasty teeth or lack thereof.
