Alien baby!

There he is!!! Mr. Colton Guy! He is not modest at all!



We had official confirmation at our 18 week ultrasound this Wednesday that it is indeed a boy. Daddy could tell at 12 weeks.:) We were relieved that all body parts including the heart look healthy and strong at this point. We will have a fetal echo at 24 weeks just to check the heart again.

The Little Prince

Our other Valentine's Day activity right after the shower was going to see a local production of The Little Prince. We all enjoyed the play and Caden wanted to see it again as soon as it was over. The kids enjoyed getting to meet the characters afterward.

Kristie's Shower

My cousin Kristie came from Virginia for her first baby shower. Emma, my mom, and I won the belly estimation game thanks to our little guy. I was not thrilled that Kristie and I are the same size around and she is due 2 months before me!

Valentine's Dinner at Nicolino's

The kids and I went to Los Gatos on Valentine's weekend for my cousin Kristie's baby shower and celebrated on Friday night at Nicolino's. The kids were enthralled with the pianist and violinist, who played at each table. He played a song titled "The Lark" for us. The other highlight was the salads and desserts made table side, complete with flames, as well as the hundreds of heart balloons and decorations all over the restaurant.

Caden's Latest Game Invention

Caden likes to think outside the box, so we took turns wearing his goggles and using a toy airplane wing to puncture holes in a piece of cardboard until the entire thing disintegrated into a hundred pieces.

Disneyland in the Rain!

We had to use our annual passes while we were in So Cal visiting the twins. It ended up pouring, especially on Monday. Thankfully we were prepared with umbrellas and jackets, but that didn't help the wet shoe and sock situation. There was a lot of slipping and splashing as well. We did enjoy some short lines on many rides, including the new Toy Story Mania which we went on 3 times in a row.

The Twins!!!

We finally got to meet Dax and Talley! They are 8 weeks old now and each weigh about 5 lbs. They have been home for about a week and a half. Emma and Caden absolutely loved holding them and wanted to go back the next day. They will be awesome with our little one.

Paso Children's Museum

Caden's preschool class took a field trip to the museum and had a ball. He and buddy Gabe stayed a couple extra hours and could have stayed even longer.
