Caden's Graduation from Preschool

Please overlook the terrible lighting!

Today, May 28th, Caden graduated from Little Ark. The kids sang a few sweet songs and then got their diplomas. After having kids there for the past 4 years, I was sad to think I'd have to wait another 3 years to have Colton there. The teachers are amazing and Mrs. Tracy taught Caden so much this year. Thanks Nonnie and Poppy for coming to support Caden!

Sleepover at the Bates'

After Legoland, we crashed at the Bates' new house in Fullerton. It was so fun to hang out and meet Noah, who was a month old. He is so sweet! I held him for hours as he slept in my arms. Our kids loved playing with Josh, Caleb, and Grace too.

Legoland

We had free tickets for the four of us to go to Legoland, so we headed down the day after the shower. The kids had a ball. Jeff and I are happy to say we've done it once, but we much prefer Disneyland.

My mother-in-law Peggy and sis-in-law Steph gave me a shower with my LA friends. We had a yummy meal at The Old Spaghetti Factory, ate delicious lemon cupcakes made by Traci, played a couple of games, and opened gifts. It was so awesome to have all of my old college, teaching, and church friends in the same place at the same time. Some friends I hadn't seen in a few years. Another highlight was the surprise appearance by my parents, in true Workman style! I'm so disappointed I have no pictures with them. Thanks for coming, Mom and Dad!

Fountain Fun with Meg

After a year and a half, I was thrilled to see my best friend Traci and her daughter again. They just moved back to LA from New York. We met at Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga, where we used to live, and the kids had a blast in the water. Caden was drenched with his clothes on within the first 5 minutes. We're so glad the Giles are back in CA!

Caden's Field Trip to the Tide Pools

Caden's Little Ark class went to Morro Bay to check out the sea life in the tidepools. The kids found sea stars, crabs, sea urchins, and other creatures. Caden soon got bored and decided he would rather jump into the deep pools, with his clothes and sweatshirt on. After several jumps, he was freezing cold and realized he should have thought out his decision a little more.
